
In 2007, Focus on Energy started a program to help reduce energy use in large commercial buildings. Examples of facilities served through this program include offices, shopping centers, hospitals, hotels, resorts and theaters whose primary energy consumption is for heating, air conditioning and lighting. Building characteristics usually include complex energy management systems and large central HVAC systems.
