Wind

The energy present in wind can be converted into electricity with a wind turbine. Wind passing over the turbine creates rotary motion that turns an electric generator and creates electricity.

Listed below are various fact sheets and other information sources on the subject of wind energy.

Interested in implementing a renewable energy project, but are not sure what the process is? This fact sheet outlines the steps involved in preparing for your renewable energy system.

This study investigates the difference between estimated energy production of a Vestas V-15 (65kW, 3-phase, 480VAC, 4200rpm) wind turbine, remanufactured by Energy Maintenance Systems and actual production. This study shows that the performance of a Wisconsin-sited Vestas V-15 (65kW, 3-phase, 480VAC, 4200rpm) wind turbine can be improved with a more aggressive-than-normal blade pitch.
