What is the Renewable Energy Market Provider Program?
It's a formal partnership between Focus on Energy and businesses who deliver renewable energy
goods and/or services in one of our target markets to customers of participating utilities.
The program targets the following technologies:
- Solar electric
- Solar hot water
- Wind
- Biogas digestion
- Non-residential biomass combustion
Eligible businesses include Focus on Energy
Full Service Installer,
MREA-certified site assessor
and renewable energy consultants, manufacturers, dealers and distributors serving Focus on Energy
customers.
Enjoy valuable free benefits
Renewable Energy Market Providers receive a host of valuable free services to maximize their
business's exposure and profitability and grow the market for renewable energy. These services
include:
- Association with the Focus on Energy brand
- A highlighted listing on the Focus on Energy Web site
- Eligibility for Market Provider of the Year awards and featured projects in the annual calendar
- Opportunities to staff the Focus on Energy booth at industry events
- Ability to request fact sheets and case study handouts for events and self promotion
- Press release assistance to promote your Market Provider status and high-profile projects
- Focus on Energy program updates
- Cooperative advertising funds for marketing and trade show expenses
How to apply
- Fill out and submit the Market Provider Agreement form
- Carefully review, sign and submit the Customer Service Pledge & Code of Ethics form
- Provide proof of commercial liability insurance coverage
- Attend a Market Provider Training. Once your paperwork is received, you will be notified of the next training (trainings are held at least quarterly, either in person or by conference call)
