Focus on Energy’s Affordable Housing Program

Focus on Energy, Wisconsin’s energy efficiency and renewable energy program, wants to help affordable housing builders, remodelers and operators make new and existing homes more affordable1 by reducing monthly energy costs.

The Affordable Housing Program offers services and financial incentives to help organizations build energy efficient homes that:
  • Save money by using less energy
  • Reduce maintenance through the use of high-quality equipment
  • Improve health and comfort with superior construction and indoor air quality
Energy efficient housing brings immediate benefits to low-income families2. By planning for energy efficiency early in the design process, additional costs can be minimized or avoided. To find out how one Milwaukee home was transformed, please read our case study.

Earn financial incentives for projects and training
