ACES - Existing Buildings

Focus on Energy's Apartment & Condo Efficiency Services Program specializes in energy efficiency for new and existing multi-unit residential properties.

Services available for existing buildings include free energy evaluations and incentives for the purchase and installation of equipment, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, lighting and specialty measures.

How can I apply?
Focus on Energy offers incentives for equipment purchase and installation at existing multifamily properties. If you are interested in applying for an incentive through the ACES program, please download and complete the appropriate application form:

• Heating Ventilation and Cooling: Air conditioning and air cooling systems, boilers and boiler controls furnaces, heat pumps, energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), appliances and individual hot water heaters.
• Common Area Lighting: Lighting projects within multifamily building common areas.
• Specialty Equipment: Chillers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), vending machine controls, and guest energy management controls (GREMs).
• Custom Energy Efficiency Project Application: For projects not covered under any of the other applications.
• Additional incentives and energy assessments for your building may be available. Contact Focus on Energy for more information before moving forward with your project.

Submitted applications must be completely filled out, signed and accompanied by an itemized invoice (with manufacturer make and model number for each piece of eligible equipment). Submittal instructions are included at the bottom of each application form.
