Planning Incentives
The best way to find out whether your location can benefit from renewable energy is to schedule a site assessment with a certified site assessor. The following incentives can help you significantly reduce the cost of site assessments and other, more complex site evaluations when needed.
Site assessments provide objective, third-party recommendations for your specific location. This incentive pays a portion of the site-assessment cost. Focus recommends a site assessment prior to installing any solar energy system, but it is not required to be eligible for Focus solar installation incentives.
Feasibility Study Grants
provide financial support for site evaluations that go more in-depth than site assessments (which are the recommended first step) to determine whether renewable energy systems are right for you. The grant is intended to increase the ability of businesses and organizations to make informed decisions about large, often complex renewable energy systems by understanding and solving technical uncertainties.
Installation Incentives
To qualify for these incentives, eligible customers must submit a completed Cash-Back Reward or
grant application and receive Focus on Energy approval
before purchasing, ordering
or installing any equipment or services. You can verify your
eligibility here.
