Steam Systems <--Return to Course List Steam Systems Best Practices This interactive one day workshop, designed for industrial and large commercial facilities, will cover the economic and operational benefits that are a direct result of the implementation of steam system best practices. In this session you will learn how to identify opportunities in your facility and develop an overall implementation strategy that will result in energy and cost savings. The course is $150 and includes training materials, continental breakfast and lunch. Through the generous support of our utility partners, we can offer this $300 program for just $150. You can be fully reimbursed for the cost of this course if you implement an energy efficiency project with Focus on Energy within six months and receive approved custom or prescriptive incentives. This class was held on October 30, 2007. An additional class is planned for October of 2008. Steam Systems Assessment Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy The Steam System Improvement Workshop covers the operation of typical steam systems and discusses methods of system efficiency improvement. The one-day workshop is designed for end users--at the energy manager, steam system supervisor, engineer and operations level--who have steam system responsibilities in industrial and institutional plants.
