The Process Heating Assessment workshop will help you:

  • Gain a broader understanding of process heating system types and heating methods
  • Improve system efficiency
  • Reduce furnace emissions
  • Operate and maintain your process heating equipment more effectively
  • Learn how to use Process Heating Assessment and Survey Tool (PHAST) software to assess energy consumption in your system components
This session will conclude with a discussion and feedback period.

Instructor
Dick Bennett is president of Janus Technology Group, Inc., a consultant specializing in process heating technical assistance and education, and has been in the industrial combustion industry since 1965. Dick has extensive experience as an industry spokesperson and trainer, and his column, “Energy Notes,” is a regular feature in Process Heating Magazine. Dick is a member of the American Society for Metals (ASM) International, the Air and Waste Management Association, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and is a qualified instructor in the U.S. DOE’s Best Practices PHAST program. Dick holds a bachelor of science degree in metallurgical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
