With one project already completed earlier this year through Focus on Energy, Jones Sign recently decided to complete yet another energy efficient project. With the encouragement of trade ally Green Power Technology Solutions, Jones Sign decided to take on a lighting project for their billboard signs across Northeast Wisconsin. "Induction lighting was the best lighting application for us," said John Mortensen of Jones Sign. "It provides perfectly even lighting across our billboard faces without any dim or bright areas. The fact that it's a sustainable solution made it a no-brainer. Induction lighting lowers our annual energy usage by over 650,000 kilowatt hours and reduces our energy cost by over $50,000 a year. Coupled with the energy rebates, it was a sound decision for us both as a company, and for our local environment. It helps us do our part to reduce our carbon footprint."
