Agriculture & Farms

A successful farm is an efficient one.

Installing cost-effective energy efficiency and renewable energy projects improves rural Wisconsin’s bottom line.

Focus on Energy provides incentives for equipment upgrades that deliver real, measurable energy and financial savings for Wisconsin’s farms and agribusinesses.

NEW Variable Speed Drive Special Offering

Save big in 2018! Starting June 1, 2018, agriculture producers are eligible to DOUBLE their incentives on all variable speed drives installed on their farming operation. Incentives are limited to 75% of the entire project cost and cannot exceed $7,500 per variable speed drive. If the original incentive is over $7,500, the initial amount will be awarded, but no bonus will be offered. Any additional incentives will be automatically awarded. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to power your farm’s profitability.

EXTENDED Agriculture Multiple Equipment Bonus

Focus on your farm while we focus on your energy! Focus on Energy will continue to offer agricultural customers a bonus for installing more than one technology in 2018. Incentive bonus ranges from $400-$600 and is capped at 50% of original incentive. Eligible for existing buildings only.

Help Support Your Local FFA

Focus on Energy is offering a unique fundraising opportunity to Wisconsin FFA Chapters. Members of participating chapters can sell engine block heater timers to local agricultural producers during the fall and keep 100% of the funds raised. Engine block heaters are commonly used in cold climates to warm engines prior to start up. The benefits of using a timer include easier engine start up, reduced engine wear, and improved air quality.
